Chase !
Im in the process of bleaching some jeans for tomorrow as part of the 'styling' team for our clothes show live collection and kayleigh has just gone home after helping distress them with sandpaper and i thought id quickly upload a few pictures from last night when me and my boyfriend went to the german market ! I went last week with kay, angie, jonny and tom and i had such a good time looking at the toys/gifts and most importantly the food ^.^ unfortunately last time we were too picky at the beginning and ended up with a rubbish sausage however yesterday me and chase got yummy ones (as seen above ^^) ! It was so nice to take a day out from working constantly and spend it looking round all the stalls and buying some presents for my sisters for christmas! And i got an amazing candle for xmas dinner, as this year ill be spending it in coventry with chase because of work and i want it to be really nice and i thought candles would look cute all round the house so i found one that smelt all xmassy and was red ! Also today we found a xmas tree in the loft so atleast the house will look xmassy! im excited to spend it with chase as its the first xmas we'll of spent together and although im sad i wont be home for xmas i think im just sad to miss what ive always known rather than what it is nowadays. Yesterday we also went to the cinema and saw 'rise of the guardians' which was a film based around easter bunny/santa claus/jack frost/tooth fairy and the evil character 'pitch black', i love watching kids films as i think its nice to just watch something nice and fun and with a happy ending sometimes, especially when its close to christmas i am one of those lovers of christmas films/songs/traditions, everything that made xmas when you were little and all the things you take with you and make it what it is now!
Looking round the german market i took some photos of cute ideas that i thought i could look back to at a later date, i think its a good idea to take photos of anything that you like/find interesting/different as on the days when you lack inspiration/motivation you can look back through photos like these, remember the day and feel refreshed and inspired! I loved the wooden plaques that were postcards, engraved with a message on one side 'i love you' and then with the back section lines for your address/message! I though it was a lovely idea and if i had more time i think i would of chosen to make some products like this for us to sell at the clothes show, as i think its a unique take on the 'postcard' but keeps quite traditional in its concept/context. |
